To Eliminate some questions being posted in the Database board I have made up a small FAQ that will be added upon as soon as they come up. Don't forget to refresh yourself with the FAQ!
Who is the Owner(s); The owner is myself Viper, However I have just recently recruited a friend from other role play sites who is awesome at role playing Fire. Together we have made BQ or Blood Quest for your role play enjoyment, any other questions feel free to PM either myself or Fire.
What is this site about?; Honestly, if you came here and are about to ask this question this role play is not for you. Though if you are seriously interested and have yet to read through every thing go to our About BQ Thread which should answer any questions you have.
What type of animals are playable here; Blood Quest is home of both Dire wolves and Lions, where as the lions have 'clans' the Dire wolves have packs. It is a good idea to research each animal you start to role play to get a basic idea of what each creature is, how they move so that you can role play them to the maximum of your capability. And sorry right now Only dire wolves and Lions are playable.
Can I be staff?; Do not ask me this, my answer will be no. Also it will make your application denied in the future, when I want to get staff I will put out an audition thread for you as a member of the site. Determining how long you have been here and how much you have been active and post wise. Each factor helps me pick the best possible candidate for the site, not to mention I have to trust you first.
Can I make an Alpha/clan leader/land etc; Sorry but no, eventually we will be making more packs and clans to hold the members that come in. Then we will be auditioning out the positions to be fair to everyone, however if you cannot wait then you can always keep challenging the current Alpha/ Clan leader. Though beware all losers of the fight are attacked and driven out by the rest of the pack.
What are power rocks and what do they do Power rocks are well just that rocks filled with a tiny bit of magic, now we weren't going to have magic on here but then I thought of something that they would be useful for. Like every day living for animals, or a boost to show off to that special some one. All in all they aren't permanent with the creatures here in BQ, Except the special powers.
What are the special powers and how do they work? The special powers are insentives for people who are active in every day life, Viper is on most of the day so she will be able to detect who is cheating and who isn't. Be warned you could get banned for cheating if caught! A log will be held for each person who holds powers in the admin board, this way it is fair for the players. Now, that said it isn't easy to get these special powers as they are the things that cost so much in the store. You have to be active and post correctly, in the role play areas. If you spam our ooc area this privaledge will be taken away, as that is too easy and the money you get there will not count toward your overall percentage of how many BP you currently own.
[/b]What are the special powers[/b] The special powers are any of the fallowing: Fire - this comes in stages, one never wields the fire in total control untill they are at least 8 years of age. They are then considered masters of their craft, fire wielders have an extra gift that comes with it. They grow horns on thier head as they age, similar to the ram horns on a mountain goat.
Water - This also comes in stages, however water is easier to control then fire. But it has its tendancys to get away, when a wolf is 6 years old it knows all it needs to when it comes to water. The water masters are looked up to because they can find water that is needed for a pack, however they cannot control such natural disasters such as tidal waves. Floods, or storms because it is too great and could kill the wolf trying. These creatures have an extra gift as well, they grow horns like that of a hell hound. Straight back and spiraled.
Earth - This comes in stages, yet unlike either fire or water it is perhaps the hardest to acheive mastery over. At the age of 10 years the creature is considered a master of his element, this being can be dangerous as there is little control over the power when it first comes and distruction is inevitable. Usually these creatures become out casts that fourm groups and teach each other thier trades. These creatures come with a gift as well, they have spikes along thier neck from the base of the skull till the middle of their shoulders.
Wind - Perhaps the easiest power of all of the elements, and quite unlike the other three. This can come easy for some but is hard for others, the creatures that hold this element hold the key's to the storms. Though storm making is not an ability they have, they can bring or disperse storm clouds. Mostly these wolves go off thier emotions, at the age of 4 years the wolf should be considered a master. Though it could take some as long as 8 years to get it right, these wolves come with a special gift too. They have longer ears, like that of a jack rabbit though in wolf shape and fourm.
more to come.
